Recently I traveled 16+ hours to and from South America and this time, I swore I wouldn't land with the usual neck, back and body ache I get while traveling in the back with the fun crowd. For the price, I could not find too many options better than this, and the second chamber really helps with upper-neck support and keeps the arms of the inflatable pillow down on my shoulders instead of moving up and touching my face when I'm asleep. Yes it's a very specific thing to note but then again, this is a very specific pillow.

The material is soft and there's no weird smells after airing it out (once again, specific things to note). Another nice thing is that it rolls up into a really small size (think the length of your hand) so it fits into backpack pockets, etc. A very useful item when traveling and I'm glad it didn't cost an arm and a leg!

Was a Great Product but Needs a New Valve

Great travel pillow... very comfortable and folds to a really small size for travel. Been using a similar one for decades with no issues. This one, however, has a flimsy valve that makes it really hard to close off after you inflate it... thus the lower rating. The valve is really "leaky", to the point where it almost deflates before you can get the plug in. Had several adults ask try, but they all took several tries to get it inflated and get the plug in, so everyone was annoyed with it!

Also, we ordered 4 for our family... 3 of them were fine, but the 4th was not packed in the box correctly, and was dirty and covered in hair, lint, and dust... yuk! Looks like someone used it and returned it, and Amazon shipped it to me as a new item. Now I can't find a replacement at anywhere near the same price, or even find one at all, and since they will only give me a refund and won't replace it, I'm out of luck........ not happy about that!

I purchased this at the last minute for an upcoming 12 hour flight. This one is much better than other cheaper ones because the material is softer and doesn't feel like you'll cut your face on the edge of plastic.

Inflating is a breeze, and the extra head rest is comfortable as it rests just at the nape of your neck, allowing you to tilt your head back.

Deflating is just as easy. Just pinch the opening and squeeze all of the air out! I have another one that forces you to use more pressure to deflate it.

Overall, this is a product that I would purchase again.

This has the potential to be a good pillow - it is nice and fluffy, the extra pillow is comfortable, and it is very compact when folded.
But I would not recommend buying it. The construction is very cheap - the seam kind of cuts into your neck if you keep it too close. The valve is cheap as cheap comes, like an old inflatable beach toy. It is very thin like a short drinking straw, the cap is flimsy and I expect it will break off after not too many uses, and here is no air release blocker, so if you don't insert the tiny plug right away, the air escapes. There are two such valves, one for the main pillow and one for the extension.

Note to the manufacturer:
Sand those seals so they don't hurt your neck
Use one of those large valves that inflate in one blow
Have an air trap so the air does not push out the minute you stop blowing
Have a slow release button
Let one valve inflate the entire pillow instead of having two valves.

Note to customer
Do yourself a favor and buy something else, this one is really poor
