Screen partially obscured when wearing polarized sunglasses

Screen partially obscured when wearing polarized sunglasses
So on 7/26/21 I mounted this wired CATEYE Velo 7 to the center stem of my Trek FX 7.2 hybrid, replacing an old wireless Sigma Sport 1200 Plus, which came with the bike when it was given to me used about a year prior. The Sigma recently developed an annoying intermittent front wheel sensor issue which my repeated attempts to correct failed, so I decided to go wired. On my first ride with the CATEYE installed, I noticed the bottom section of the screen partially obscured. I always use the Distance screen when riding and I could easily read mph at top of screen, but to read the Distance, I have to move my head to the left to see the mph clearly. This is apparently only because my sunglasses are polarized. No problem with no glasses, and my other two pairs of apparently polarized sunglasses have the same screen darkening effect, while my pair of photochromic sunglasses had no effect.Interestingly, my polarized sunglasses had no effect on my old Sigma. So, be aware of this. If I had room on my handlebars, I would re-locate the computer there, as I would be able to probably angle it to minimize or eliminated this problem. Now, i'll probably just buy non-polarized sunglasses.I attached a photo of the Sigma and CATEYE side by side, so you can see the difference in the size and shape of the numbers. I slightly prefer the Sigma numbers, and if I had known about this polarization issued prior, I would have looked at the Sigma wired models. Also, I prefer Sigma's mounting system using large rubber o-rings instead of the CATEYE's nylon ties. Setting up the CATEYE initially was not a problem, as many people have complained about, but only because I went through similar annoying steps last year, setting up the Sigma after replacing the battery, and was used to it.
