This is probably my single favorite cable pulley machine attachment that I have so far, I previously already had the short straight revolving bar from Yes4all that doesn't have the rubber grips and I do like it a lot and you can see the differences of the two in my pictures but sometimes I feel like that other bar might slip out of my hands after I get tired and my hands get sweaty even though it does have some knurling but the grip on this bar with the rubber grips is much better and this bar is also heavier but it feels sturdy and the quality isn't perfect like on the rubber parts or in the center but it's still definitely worth the amount of money and I would rather pay less for a Cap product than multiple times more for another brand that charges more that might not even be any better or not much better as long as you get a good item from Cap and I really don't know if the more expensive brands sell a different product or if they're all made by the same manufacturers and they just sell them to different companies who re sell them with their own names but either way this is a great bar for the price, the rubber grips on this bar really do ad a lot to your grip, only time will tell how long the rubber parts will last because I know on some bars the rubber part tends to fall apart after a while people say which is why I was hesitant to buy a bar like this with rubber grips before but it definitely feels well made on this bar, secure and extremely durable so the rubber areas on this bar feel like they'll last a long time but if anyone were to get only a single attachment for a cable pulley machine I would recommend a short straight revolving bar like this one for sure that you can do a lot of exercises with and this one made by Cap with a lot of rubber gripping might just be your best bet for the price, I still want the Champion version that's all metal with the rubber round knobs on the end to have 3 different straight revolving bars with 3 different grips but maybe in the future I'll get that one if it ever comes back in stock or I might get the slightly cheaper version made by Cap which is also out of stock currently but this bar and the other one that I have are both great but this one is definitely worth purchasing for anyone that wants that extra solid grip.

LOVE the rubber grips. They stink for a week or so, but are well worth it. This is a high quality attachment, although, the first one I ordered was VERY rusty ... everywhere. The first one was also nicked and scratched up really bad and missing the chrome finish in multiple places, hence the rust... I shipped it back (at no cost) and received a replacement about a week later. The replacement had very minimal rust (not enough that I'm concerned about it) and no damage. Aside from the rust and damage on the first one, this is a great attachment and I'd highly recommend it.

The outter grip angle gets my back and biceps in was that a regular lat pull-down bar can't, making this a great addition to my home-gym.

The rotating connection peice is a MUST. I highly reccomend this attachment.

Tip: I also use this (the inner grip) as my short straight bar and it works great. So it saved me from having to purchase another attachment.

Can't complain about the sturdiness of this item, it's rock solid. The rubber handles are slightly uncomfortable but it's not a deal breaker. Only annoyance was the rust particles that fell out of the attachment's rotating collar, think the bar got wet in the past. That finally stopped, I added a drop of oil (it has an oil hole) so all is well.

My opinion, there's nothing not to like about this. It works good. It looks good. It's heavy duty. The handle grips are good quality and feel great in your hands. I have no problem with the swivel. It has a hole to insert lubricant. I use just regular household oil. It's a perfect size for doing exercises such as curls. The price was fantastic. I'm glad to have bought it off of Amazon.

We bought this for our zipline. The kids were hanging from a climbing harness and didn't really have anything to hold onto, so we decided that a bar would help them sit up a little straighter and perhaps enjoy the ride a little more. It seems sturdy enough, we weren't worried about the bar bending or failing, and since their weight was all distributed over a harness it worked perfectly. This thing is solid - probably weighs around 15 pounds or more. The actual dimensions are not exactly what I expected, but it's close enough. The actual width from outside edge of the handholds is actually 27" and the interior width from the inside edge of each handhold is 24.5". Just be aware of that if you are looking for a smaller or larger width. Says Made in China (not surprising), but again, this is one solid hunk of metal.

Bought this off Amazon Warehouse denoted as "used, but good condition". My guess is someone took this out of the original box (which was kind of beat up) and just sent it back for whatever reason. The metal parts still had a sheen of machine oil. HUGE discount off of the new price - probably 70% off.

Very well made as far as construction is concerned. Definitely the heaviest attachment in weight that I have purchased for my 2 Cable Crossover Machine. Finish is a little uneven, but that is the only thing I can really say against it. It does look more like a brushed on finish rather chrome, which others have commented on. No rust though. There is a lubricating hole in the center swivel section, and it is there for a reason. Before using, I would highly recommend putting a half dozen drops or so of 3-in-1 oil in, and turn the center section a number of times to lubricate it evenly. This will get rid of the squeaking sound and cause it to move more freely when you are using it with your cable machine. I have found that 3-in-1 oil works better on the swivel types of attachments like this, as it is a little thicker and works much longer than any of the spray type lubricants. Hope this helps.
