I have terrible tick n rodent issues. I even heavily diluted it. Sprayed pants, shoes, truck, garage and I can still feel the cool peppermint oil. I've tried other brands. They're usually diluted. This stuff should get 10 Stars! The mice hate it so much. They try to run past the awaiting cat. It's THAT GOOD! The standoff is going on 2nd day. 🤣 I found ZERO TICKS yesterday. Usually always 2-5 in an hour's time. I was outside all afternoon from 11am till 730pm
Tick free! No mice running around either. Except the one hiding in the crawlspace with only one way out as food. 👍 The peppermint oil is driving it mad. It's starting to get tired but not the cat! I am seeing less and less attempts of the mouse. They REALLY HATE peppermint oil..

Pests and animals do not like the smell of mint. I do not want to use this in my house or for personal products I create. I'm just laying it out for the Critters.

Add crushed garlic, hot pepper flakes, etc.

Limonene is another oil to mix things up as deterrent.

Only pour/spray in non edible areas.

May or may not kill growing plants. Do your own research.

I really enjoy peppermint. It helps my tummy when it's upset. Peppermint helps me with my aches and pains sometimes.
So, will this mint help that? I don't know, but I would be happy to try if I needed to.

I got this peppermint oil for spraying the outside perimeter of my home, basement hatchway, steps, porches, etc. to deter field mice from entering the home.
This extract is pure, super strong, and it didn't clog my portable sprayer.
The day after I sprayed, we had a drenching downpour, and I feared that I'd have to re-do the spraying.
That wasn't the case.
This stuff is lasting, and I'm really pleased with it as far as value.
It's pure and natural, and I also tested it by using it diluted with oil in my indoor essential oil candle diffusers. It's very pleasing and invigorating.
It's a good quantity, and I think it's a great value, and a great product.

I like some here didn't really read the quantity because the image looks like a really big container. At least 2 quarts was what I assumed. But nope it says 16 FL oz and that's what it is. Little bottle but the scent is strong and should be diluted a little bit for applications. Unless, you want it super concentrated because you don't want squirrels chewing up the car anymore. Anywho, it's a lil bottle! And it's working just fine for now.

In mid October I had something setting off motion lights for a few nights and had my dog flying around trying to find or get something when he was let out into yard. I readjusted the cameras and moved one to ground level near back door and soon after was alerted to motion and there he was … a rat 🫢 🤮🤨. It seemed to be the same fella doing the same routine night after night and I need him gone. My German Shepherd is my fur baby so poison floating around anywhere is simply not an option. I like wanted to take into consideration any wildlife butterfly effect from anything I was going to use and opted to try the peppermint route. Plus I like the smell of peppermint. Saw this product , read the reviews and figured I’d give it a shot. First and foremost it worked , like really really worked. I watched on camera as this rodent debating coming closer and then take off. He’d do this a few times but never went further into yard / past the sprayed areas. Eventually the motion detections stopped and haven’t seen him since. Now could he have been caught in a trap or poisoned somewhere else , sure could have. I don’t know but I KNOW this stopped him from coming around my house and my yard. I watched it on my cameras. Also could it have been user ignorance of not realizing just how strong this stuff was - absolutely. When I tell you I had to close windows because my eyes were watering I’m not joking. My neighbors could even get the scent of peppermint. I really had no clue how strong this was until it was done. Spraying every foot or so probably wasn’t necessary but then again, it worked soooooo 🤣. Because I had sprayed it under seasoned porch as well it was more protected from the elements and the scent lightened but I would get a nice soft smell for well over a week! Because I horrified to see a rat that close to my house I had also bought the pouches and flung those here and there and then would come around and spray those too to keep the scent going. Just didn’t spray them crazy because I had learn my lesson. Bottom line it works and overspraying - all be it eye watering for me - might have just been what made it work so fast and good for me and my situation. It’s been about a month since I last sprayed the pouches and haven’t resprayed anything else and still no sign of him - or anything else / any other wondering rodent for that matter. I recommend this product if your looking for a natural and safe deterrent/repellent.

Great for keeping the mice etc. from wanting to invade the RV while the RV is stored for winter at our park. Have had success using peppermint and wintergreen oil sprinkled on cotton balls placed in aluminum tart tins placed in cupboards and under bed. No evidence of the varmints invading the premises for the past 7 years. By purchasing the larger container one can save hundred of dollars over a period of a few years. We normally buy a couple of small bottles at a pharmacy and that only equals about an 1 oz. for at about $30.00. So purchasing the larger container will save $ in the long run.

This is the biggest rip-off I've come across in a long time. The peppermint oil is so weak, I had to put my nose into the top of the bottle to smell it. Some one is taking the mickey here!
I've worked with essential oils in a former life, and this seems to be cut to an estimated 0.1 millilitre of essential oil in the 473 millilitre container.
I suspected it was a dud when I ordered, because this quantity of 100% uncut peppermint oil would cost far more than this. My suspicions were right. It's as weak as water.
I've opened a 3 ml bottle of pure essential and had to run for cover because it is so strong, and a 100 foot room immediately stank strongly at the other end! This product is unbelievable. Total rubbish!
The star ratings don't work properly, because I can't select zero stars. One star is more than this is worth!
