It has a very powerful scent and the first time I used it, it was pretty overwhelming. My wife said she felt like she was being knocked over when she walked in after I first used it. It has calmed down a bit, but still works very well at giving a fresh scent to the air. I would get it again, maybe open it and let it air a little before the first use though.

I have purchased the Arm n Hammer ones to go in the vacuum. Those did not seem to fit as well as this one. Also they had a pad that was stuck on the back of the filter so all the grime and dust was trapped on that instead of the filter. This one is just the filter and it was quite a tight fit. The tighter the better as it won't allow air to go around. It has that trademark Febreze smell to it and fills the room with the scent.

It really is nice to have the whole room smell fresh after vacuuming. I change all 3 filters in my vacuum about every 8 months since I only have carpet in my bedroom so they really don't get a lot of work. Still, this little filter makes a pleasant difference. Great product. I won't go back to the regular ones.
