Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

It's a very poor design, that seems almost designed to fail.
I had this model for about six months. It did what I'd call "barely adequate" job of drying my greens after rinsing.
The pump allows you to build up some speed, but not enough for a really good drying. Maybe I'm too used to the better results from the pull cord style that reverses each spin after the cord winds back up.
I no longer have this unit because after about six months, I was pumping normally and heard a loud "TICK" sound, and looked down at it, and the thick outer bowl had cracked all the way from the rim to the base. Other than that, the product still looked brand new.
Pushing the pump presses the lid down into the bowl. The lid seats within the bowl, but using the unit requires that you apply pressure to the lid, which is pressed down inside the rim of the bowl. This is what caused the crack.
I used an old salad spinner for years and replaced it with this model when I found it at Costco. At first it worked great, although it always was too big and bulky to store easily when not in use. Unfortunately, I went to use it the other day and hear a snap when I unlocked it. The pump had broken and would no longer spin. After far too few months, now it's useless. I wish I had my old spinner back!
It doesn't dry the leaves very well. Neither my wife nor mother in law can slide the release to access the lever, and water gets into the lid with no way to get it out, so rusty brown water drips on your salad, yum.
