Pretty good value for money pool cue, good feel and so far playing pretty well with this, really my first regularly own pool cue and great for intermediate players like me without breaking the bank and investing in a fancy expensive cue that doesn't yet align to my budding skill level

This PureX HXT15 pool cue plays much better and more consistent than just basic house cues (of course my own skills and experiences an ever lasting journey of constant continuous improvement), great 1st session in my first ever 8-ball pool league with APA and joined a fun team of really good players, we ended up ranked 3rd in our league, and made it to 2nd round of playoffs and I was only 1 game and a few balls away from taking it to the next level and advancing to the citywide tournament, and who knows national tournament in Las Vegas. Look forward to more games with this awesome cue in 2018 & beyond!

Thanks PureX cues for offering a good solid option for a broad range of players skill level with great design and solid build and the low deflection shaft technology is a nice plus at this price point

Such a great pool cue. I've shot with some higher end predators and lucasi cues and this one compares very well to them. And costs way less. Well made smooth durable shaft. Thinner shaft than most cues which I like. 12.7mm. Some cues are advertised as 12.7mm but rarely are. This one actually is. Nice kamui soft tip on it. Shaped perfectly out of the box. I like my Viking Valhalla but this cue blows it outta the water. Highly recommended. It's worth the $250

I was able to make most shot with this cue right out of the packing, but I do not like the soft cue tip, it will not last long as it does not hold together very well. I will put a Tiger tip on it and I'm sure I will enjoy shooting pool the this cue.

Im a casual player who is getting back into the game after a 15 year hiatus, so when I went shopping for a cue, I set my budget at no more than $200-$250.

After much research I landed on the Purex/Players HXT series primarily because of the marketing/talk about low-deflection shafts and its lower price - I really wanted a US-made higher end cue but just cannot justify the cost for myself. I honestly am not experienced enough to quantify the difference (if any) between this cue and another high-quality cue from McDermott or one of the other big brands. But I CAN definitively say this cue provides a very noticeable difference when compared to a cheaper sub $100 cue, of which I have a few.

First off, it rolls lazer straight right out of the box. The cue feels very well-balanced when stroking, and the wrapped grip feels nice in your hand. The tip came well-shaped and I chalked it up and played with it right away. The shaft is very smooth and glides easily without the need for rosin or a glove. Striking the ball feels very solid and fluid with very little if any feedback - even when imparting (or trying to) a lot of english.

There is a lot to be said about having a tool the exudes confidence, and I can assure the amateur players out there that this cue will leave you confident that you can work on YOUR game without wondering whether or not your cue is holding you back.

I am not happy at all. and don't want to deal with all this back and fourth crap so ill just us it for a breaking cue

I really like this cue, and I feel it's worth every penny. Been playing with this cue for about a month now, 5x or more a week. I can say this is one of the nicest cues I've played with in this price range. The low deflection shaft is decent, but not as good as a high end shaft like a Predator. But if you're looking at a aesthetically pleasing performance cue at a good price...definitely consider this and perhaps upgrade the shaft down the road if you want.

This is a great cue! I had a problem with the weight in the end of the cue, making a rattle sound. I was out of the return time and called Cue&Case and they told me how to tighten up the weight and the cue is back to being perfect. Have had the cue for 6 months and it's solid, great looking and has good balance. For the money, you can't find a better cue. I play 3 times a week and you'll have to spend $400 to get a comparable cue.
