Omega Closure System

Tumi's patented closure system significantly reduces the risk of damage to the zipper. The Omega zipper puller is designed to break away from the bag if it becomes caught. The puller, rather than the entire zipper, is then quickly and easily replaced.

I bought this as a surprise Valentine’s Day gift for my boyfriend. I was a bit nervous as there were mixed reviews however I love, love, love the bag and most importantly he does to!!!Great quality/shape upon arrival. Very spacious, the plush padding for the computer is a huge plus! I would definitely recommend this bag.

I’ve had this for awhile now and was initially reluctant to use due to the fact that I previous bag had more storage. I travel by air about 45 weeks a year for work and to that my bag is extension of me is an understatement! Anyhow, after finally switching over to this bag for everyday use, I’ve never looked back! This bag is the perfect size for the road warrior and it forced me to stop shoving stuff into it that I never used and didn’t need. Which added up to about 7 pounds of extra weight! I’m not implying that this is bag small by any means. I still have everything I need with me every week and a few things I probably don’t (thanks OCD)! Anyhow, great quality and still looks new about a year later. Would definitely buy it again!

So far this has been a fantastic bag. I have recently switched back to a shoulder carry from a roller brief. This bag fits perfectly on my carry-on and is lightweight and simple to carry on business. I was surprised at the room available inside as well as all the handy pockets on the outside. Cords and wires all have a place to fit and I am able to fit a little extra in as well. The bag is durable and I have high hopes of it holding up well, as my other TUMI bags have always done in the past!

This is basically the same bag as their very popular expandable bag in a thinner profile with some modern upgrades. The problem I had with the Tumi large screen bag was that it was too big and I wound up stuffing it to the gills. It was nice in that I could use it as an overnighter but it was overkill. I had that bag for 12 years before it finally gave out - some abrasion damage on the bottom that was likely my fault.

So, I opted for this thinner profile bag and I'm glad I did. I love this bag. It is your standard Tumi front configuration and I must say that the design works. Just trust me when I say that it has the perfect setup for compartments. The small thinner compartment in the front is lined for a water bottle but I use it for a battery pack storage and the large compartment for all my other essentials. It has a pocket that's RFID lined to protect a passport or credit cards.

Overall, it's just a phenomenal product.

The only down side is that I see these bags everywhere at the airport. They are extremely popular so I have a few personalization items to make sure I I have my bag and not somebody else's. I guy in line in front of me at the airport had this exact same bag. We struck up a conversation and joked with each other that we needed to make sure we didn't mix up our bags.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this. It's the perfect size for a laptop + tablet + notebook + power cords + travel essentials a modern gentleman needs. No, I can't load it up like my old giant bag but my back is thankful for the downsizing.
