I bought the single focus, cheap, glasses to keep around the house, but I keep coming back to these multi focus glasses. So I just gave up and bought like six pairs! My oldest pair I’ve had for probably four years not as comfortable for Driving, but great for cooking reading, watching TV at the house. You get used to the multifocal points, and it’s definitely worth the money compared to what you get at the eye doctor for hundreds more. Highly recommend!

The focus is really multifocal.

These are quality lenses that are really multifocal. They gradually change from no magnification at the top to whatever magnification you ordered. I purchased the 1.5 magnification. If what I'm looking at is out of focus, a slight tilt of my head brings the item into focus, or if in hand, I can raise or lower the item slightly. These are far better they bi-focals which switch from close to far and back completely or full reading glasses. With these, I can be sitting in front of the TV watching a show, and glance down at my phone to respond to an email or text. There is no momentary out of focus, my eyes adjust smoothly. My only complaint is that just after receiving the glasses, I was cleaning one lens and the rubber nose mount dropped to the floor. I stuck it back into the mount and squeezed the clamp a little tighter. I haven't had the problem occure again. For Foster Grants I would expect a little tighter quality control in production. However, I like how well these work and am purchasing a second pair. Now if the could add auto tinting in sunlight, they would be perfect.

I'm not quite sure what the use case is for these glasses but I found them extremely heavy and with disproportionate transitional sections. The reading section is way to large and the middle and upper sections are very small. You might as well just get regular reading glasses with these and even then you'll still be uncomfortable wearing them. There are others out there that are much better, especially for extended computer use.

I have tried over 20 pairs of glasses on Amazon and these are the best. The multi-zone actually works. I have found 1.75 to be about the strongest strength you can while keeping the distance viewing still perfectly in focus. The 2.00 works better for me if I plan to be around the house or on the computer, but I would not recommend wearing the 2.00 to view a concert or sporting event. At 1.75, everything works perfectly. Close up objects are nice a clear and far objects remain perfectly in focus. Other muti-focus glasses suffer from ghosting images due to the way the glasses bend light, but I barely notice it with these glasses. (Something about the shape of them.)
These glasses are a bit on the heavy side, but not uncomfortable at all.
