I've waited quite a while to buy this knife and now when it's in hand there's a big smile on my face. The O-1 steel primary sharpens to a really nice edge and the secondary is a lot sharper out of the box than I expected. It too sharpens up even more.
The black micarta contrasts very handsomely with the brass of the guard. It's a bit smoother in the grip than what I would normally like, but to me, the faux wood in the standard knife just doesn't make it.
After I took off the belt loop, the sheath is good for even inside the waist band use.
This is an outstanding knife and an excellent value.
