I love everything about my new Heritage business portfolio case! It has a casual elegance making it appropriate for all situations. The quality and workmanship are excellent. There are multiple compartments with internal dividers providing ample space for a laptop, files, and other essentials. I especially appreciate how well-planned and practical the organization pockets are conveniently placed and sized to accommodate such items as an IPad, smartphone, and other personal belongings. This case is a bit smaller than my old bulky portfolio, well-worn from years of daily use, yet it actually holds more and has much better storage features. The zippers and hardware on the portfolio I received are different than the bright brass zippers shown in the online photos, but are more of an “aged bronze” finish that better compliment the warmth of the Colombian leather. I highly recommend this product for someone looking for a quality portfolio at an affordable price.

I must have ordered and returned 5 or 6 laptop bags from Amazon before settling on this one. So far, I love the bag with just a few minor quibbles:

Pros:
- Perfect size for a 13-15 inch laptop and basic accessories
- Nice leather and decent construction
- Decent amount of organizer pockets for daily use
- Excellent value for the price

Cons:
- Plastic piping between seams seems a little cheap
- Shoulder strap has almost no padding, uncomfortable for long periods
- No flap to fit over a carry-on suitcase

If this bag had a better shoulder strap with more padding and an integrated flap to fit over a carry-on suitcase, it would be a solid 5-star item for me. Still, it is a very nice bag, especially at the under $80 price point.

Update: I've been using this bag daily for over 3 months. It has held up great. The leather is durable and the size is just perfect for my laptop (Surface Book 2) and typical accessories. I also carry a notepad and few folders in the second pocket. The sticky zippers seemed to have smoothed out after a few weeks. The shoulder strap is still slightly uncomfortable and I may try to upgrade that if I can find one in matching leather. Otherwise, still very impressed with the quality.

Update 2/14/2023 - this bag has held up great to nearly 5 years of daily use. The leather still looks good and has a nice patina in a few areas. Zippers and stitching are perfect. I still wish it had a flap to attach to a carry on suitcase, but otherwise this has been a durable laptop bag.

I did a whole bunch of research before settling on this case.
I'm not real keen on buying leather goods sight unseen, but thought I'd take the chance on this one.
I wanted a good quality leather bag at a price I was willing to pay, with enough room to carry everything I needed without looking bulking.
It's very difficult find. This one had everything I was looking for.

Been using it almost daily for about 7 months now and love it. It has room for everything I need to carry.
It's well constructed, and I have had no issue with either the stitching or the zippers.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality, leather computer case.

This review is for that one.
Leather quality is good as is all the hardware.
It held up to daily usages to and from the office, and some travel usage (maybe 10 trips a year) for that entire time.
Finally one of the zipper stitching gave out and the zipper started separating.
For the quality of leather and hardware I think the usage I got from it makes it a good value.
Normally you do not get this quality leather for this price.
Just ordered a new one!

This review is very late. I love this case! After a couple of years so far, everything still works like it should. No broken zippers, no torn pockets, everything is fine. My only complaint is when I use all the front pockets for some very light items, gets front heavy. What I mean is the briefcase won’t stand upright on its bottom. It wants to fall over onto its front. Now that it’s been like that for about two years it won’t stand upright at all. Not really a problem, but annoying.

A great product. I searched for a real leather bag that didn't cost several hundred dollars. This bag is a good choice for the budget conscious buyer.

I liked the Brown color the best - it's rather dark, so if you want medium or light brown this case may not be for you. My wife liked mine so much she wants the same thing for a Christmas gift.
