Wow!! This case is AMAZING!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this case! I ordered it as a Prime Member and was able to get it in today, the exact same day I ordered it, which was VERY nice!
I did the 30 minute water test that is recommended in the instructions, WITHOUT my iPhone 6s Plus in it yet! Boy, was I glad I read and followed the instructions about that! The reason being is because after the first 30 minute test, I found water in the case! I thought I bought a lemon, but upon further inspection, unbeknownst to me, there was one edge of the phone that I had not properly snapped all the way shut. Well, as you can imagine, that was the reason water got in. I would have ruined my phone had I first tested it with it inside! It sure does pay to actually READ the instructions! Lol!!
So, after drying it all up, I again tested it a second time for any leakage, of course after double checking all was sealed tightly this time. After the second 30 minute test, it was bone dry inside! Not a drop of water to be found!!!
I need a very sturdy, virtually indestructible case, because I am handicap and use a walker, and I have major balance issues. As a result, I tend to drop my phone A LOT! I have been looking for the perfect case for a few months now. I had settled for the OtterBox Defender, because of it's reputation for intense protection. However, I was NOT pleased with it at all! For starters, I absolutely hated how HUGE the OtterBox is!! It is like carrying around a BRICK!! NO THANK YOU!!! Second of all, I had to remove the plastic screen off of the OtterBox, because it has so much give to it and did NOT sit flush against the screen at all. It was VERY difficult to use my screen without pushing hard and getting frustrated each time! After I removed the screen, I made sure I used a glass screen protector instead. I have used the Zagg brand for awhile now and it has saved my screen MANY times! And whenever it gets cracked, all you do is contact Zagg and the send you out a new one each time! All you have to pay is shipping (which is under $5) and then you send your broken one back. I must have done this at least four times already! As I said, I drop my phone A LOT!
Anyhow, I am so excited about my Lifeproof Fre for my iPhone 6s Plus! Even though it says to remove all screens, I thought I might just give it a try with my Zagg glass screen protector I already had on, just to see how it would work, again since I need as much phone protection as possible!! Anyhow, I am very happy to say that it works FANTASTIC!! It is still EXTREMELY sensitive to the touch!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this case!!! By far, my absolute favorite! I will look no farther! It is also EXTREMELY thin and light weight, especially compared to the MASSIVE brick of the OtterBox!
It took me so long to decide on this case, because of the high cost! But now, I can honestly say it was definitely worth the cost!!! I only wish I had bought it first instead of last!! You won't go wrong spending the extra money to purchase this case. After all, it is worth it and makes sense to spend more on a quality case to protect an $800 phone!! You really do get what you pay for.

BAD DESIGN - POORLY ENGINEERED. AMAZON NEEDS TO STEP IN.
I was loving this case as I usually do NOT like cases. I usually use a Spigen thin protective case that merely only covers the back and for the front I usually only have a glass screen protector. No problems, dropped more than a few times and never a scratch to any part of my 6S Plus gold iPhone. I've only replaced two glass protectors that take the hit. Now I've had this LifeProof FRE case on for 1 week only and was loving the fact I can take it poolside in my 8900 sq feet backyard, or to the beach. I saw this case as a high-tech waterproof bag basically. It didn't even bother me that you can feel the LifeProof screen lifting against the glass when you lift your finger off the screen. So far I've had this in all three of my cars, sometimes in cell holders it barely fits or sometimes in the passenger seat of my $110,000 M5. This time I was in my Audi Q7 SUV and I normally have it in the glovebox for the MMI connection - but coming back from a store near my friends house and with him in the passenger seat I decided to put it on the leather center console/arm rest. Needless to say it slid off the console less than 1 foot drop to the rubber Audi slush mats (the floor mats for the back seats) my friend reached back and grabbed it for me - and to my surprise my actual Apple 6S Plus screen cracked big time!!! It's never had even the slightest scratch after multiple drops without the LifeProof case! This is a flawed design/flaw in engineering. My friend and I who are both engineers examined where the screen cracked and it met right where a part of the LifeProof top case has an extrusion that meets the earpiece area of the glass on mine / or your 6S Plus device. It's a hard piece of plastic and it's part of the design and extrudes and touches the glass part of your phone by about a millimeter or so. We are still trying to figure out why that piece is there - this is the flaw in the design. Just like the other reviewers where their phone screen cracked while in this case. This is the cause!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CASE. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THEM BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH DETAILS IN THEIR REVIEW. I would bet that theirs cracked at the same point.
