I ordered this before going to Hawaii with the intention of just keeping my phone safe from splashes of water. When I received the case, I followed the instructions to test the product in water and looked at the case really carefully. It was actually really easy to install, but you have to make sure you do it correctly and don't disrupt the rubber seal on the inside!
I have a screen protector on my phone so that may have interfered with the touch sensitivity, however it wasn't enough to bother me. Surprisingly, the material that covers the camera portions didn't really affect the photo quality either! I take a lot of pictures of food on my iPhone 8 and was really surprised how crisp the photos turned out. The only complaint is that the piece of plastic protecting the thumb/menu button was very thin and almost broke because of my long fingernails.
The case itself is very study and I can guarantee that it was waterproof for at least 6 days. I went into the ocean, jumped into a waterfall, and even dropped my phone in the mud and it survived everything. I can't comment on how long it will last if I remove and reinstall the case, but this was definitely a winner in my book.

Ran over and still going good
This is the 3rd or 4th one iv bought they are tough as iron I never leave reviews But I figured I should this time I’m a mechanic for a power company I was on service call the other night and dropped my phone in the case and pocket clip in the road and didn’t realize it until it was ran over by a freightliner bucket truck and I’m writing this review on it now came out of the situation unharmed the down fall to them is the glue around the home button and camera lens comes loose after some time (several months) and then they will leak overall they’re tough
