and Outdoor Safety Gate
The Stairway Special Safety Gate (Model SS-30) is our maximum safety gate designed for the top of a stairway but it's great for all areas! Features include a unique latch system difficult for little hands to manipulate. The gate is constructed of aluminum which is lighter weight than steel.
All of our child safety gates are Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) certified.
Keep children safe on decks and patios with our Outdoor Safety Gate. This gate is the the identical to the model of the Stairway Special Safety Gate (Model SS30), but features all stainless steel hardware. It's the best gate on the market for outdoor use, period. Available in white, black or brown.
Note: Wood Clamps shown In all photos are sold separately. Wood clamps are unfinished for you to paint or stain to match your home decor.

Gate width is adjustable 27 to 42 ½ inches, Installed height is 29 ½ inch, Bar Spacing is 2 ½ inch.
Extensions Available: Sold Separately
10 ½ inch extension (Model BX1) is available for openings 42 ¼ to 53 inches.
21 ¾ inch extension (Model BX2) is available for openings 48 ¾ to 64 inches.
Available in white, black, or brown.

Fantastic
This is exactly what I wanted. We have 2 dogs and protecting them on the deck is all that's needed. Two prior gates quickly fell apart - exposed to the rain. They were hard to open and hard to close. They would bind. The new gait is amazing - all aluminum and stainless steel. assembles easily and swings freely on an ingenious hinge system. it's light weight and looks great. The dogs can push it and it's sturdy enough - but not really strong... In any event it really is the best exterior dog gait I've found yet. One final thought - the latch is a pain and not needed for my installation so I drilled it out.. no issues.. Now just lift up in the center of the gait and it freely swings open. I love it - hope you do too.

I love this gate! It’s perfect for keeping my young children away from the stairs and it looks nice too. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes to get it installed and it seems sturdy so far. Will be watching to see how it holds up to the weather but so far it’s great!
