I work in a tire shop, I'm on my feet all day and lifting tires. These boots are very comfortable and don't take long to break in. I wear a size 14, so it's hard to find any boots in my size. My feet don't hurt after wearing them for hours I can move in them flexible is good. The site says may be a size difference but I was fine with the size I got. The color is listed but the picture looks darker, the material is good quality everything has held up.

First I gave only 4 star because at this quality and price they SHOULD have a pull loop/tab on back of shank to help pulling boots on...c'mon guys.....other than that 5 stars. Size is dead on...I'm 10.5 in all shoes and these run true to size. They are as comfortable if not more than my most cushy running shoes. The laces start closer to toe than my other boots and allow perfect "snugging up" from toe to calf. The quality is 1st class and lugged sole rubber extends up over toe allowing super toe grip on any surface. Cushioning is exceptional as well as support. These have proven ALL DAY comfort with rarely any need adjust lacing. If they would just add pull tab to back to aid pulling on I wouldn't have to unlace 75% of boot to get on....but only a minor issue, I would buy again and likely will when worn out in 5-10 years if not another color sooner regardless.

Trying the boots on was a great experience; the leather was dry and stiff but still comfortable out of the box. That being said, the method I used to reduce he break in time has dramatically increased the level of comfort.

The first thing one should do with a new pair of boots like this is to take a shower with them on your bare feet. Tie them on as tight as you can and get them good and soaked. This will soften the leather. Retighten the laces as needed but keep the leather soaked. Once your shower is complete, keep wearing the boots until they're mostly dry.

These boots feel absolutely amazing now that they've (somewhat) molded to my feet. I have plenty of room to wiggle my toes in the toe box, the width is perfect for a good solid wrap around the forefoot and I have great ankle support. I do have a little play in the heel, going up and down, but I don't know (yet) if this will cause a problem that will cause blisters. I'll update after a couple rucks around the neighborhood. All of this is with wearing medium thickness Fox River socks (also fantastically comfy).

There is a removeable insole in this boot and the bottom is not soft but quite solid, but has soft foam glued on top. I'm not wearing any arch support currently, but after a few hours of wearing the boots, my feet feel pretty good with little pain in the arch.

Quite a good set of boots so far and only time and a few miles will tell how good they really are.

I only have one disappointment and that is these do not come in an extra-wide, but shoe size is something I have been used to my entire life. I spend all day on my feet on concrete and these boots keep me going. I wish I had them in my previous career. I suffer from back pain and these boots help to manage it. My Grandfather was a cobbler and taught me the importance of good footwear. He would approve of these.

Great boots, just not for my feet

Boots were fantastic quality, good stitching, rivets, and sole, even the tongue had extra padding. the boot seems to made to a much higher quality that the military requires.
they ran only slightly larger in length than company suggest. the width of shoe was spot on, and the support was fantastic.
the problem for me was the extra support band on the ankle. only on the right foot though, the height of that strap and stitch line was directly on top bone on inside of ankle. and it felt like someone duct taped a pebble to inside of ankle, quite painful.
had a friend try on boots, and they fit him perfect with no pain at all.
company is doing full refund, and ill try to find another pair.
Great boots, very impressed, just not made for my feet.
