I'm so happy!
This cable is great! We decided to resurrect the Total Gym that was unused and in our basement for 20 years.When we went to use it, the cable was not in good condition and it didn't function well. Very rough ride.I had to cut the original cable in order to remove it from the pulley mechanisms. The new cable fit perfectly through the pullies and the board glides so smoothly.

This cable works perfect to replace old one that broke (lasted over 20 years) on my Total Gym! The TOUGH part was I thought it wasn't going to work when I was trying to install because the grommets on the ends are just big enough to make it hard to pull through the pulley (the pulley is not one I could open up and didn't want to buy new pulleys as well). I ended up PUSHING the grommets through by using some pliers to hold and push grommet while holding housing in other hand. It took some patience and angling but got one through and then worked on the second. Persistence and patience are key here LOL. *Note - If you're super strong then you may be able to do this much more easily ; )

it seems like this cable is made by GR8FLEX company. the cable came in a small box with GR8FLEX printed on the box. It looked very good and feel like very well made. Just by looking and touching and also using it for a while, it was as good or even better than the original Total Gym Fit cable. Exactly the same length. I am not so sure about the durability, but I believe that it will last as long as the original.
