Worked well but casing of nailer wasn’t manufactured correctly. Screw was improperly installed resulting in casing blowing apart 1/8” after 15 nails. Lucky I had the tools on the job to reinsert it correctly. Good old QA .....not

Love this item. Adjustment pressure setting is easy to adjust. Can hold and angle the nails as needed. Easy to get into the corners well as well. I do wish the safety switch was slightly larger so I could switch it easier with one hand. It is heavy when I first lifted it, but while using it - it seemed to be easy to position and I never tired of handling it. Battery charged easily and fast. Loaded nails easily. I have just finished using it to refinish walls with 1x6 tongue and groove boards. Next week will do ceilings which I am no longer dredging with this tool.

Needed to replace baseboard in several rooms and needed something to make it easier than using a hammer and messing up the new base boards with hammer marks. Decided to try one of these battery driven nail guns and I'm so glad I did. Did the job in half the time and no destroyed baseboards either. Highly recommend the Porter Cable finish nail gun. I used 2 inch finish nails. But the gun does handle 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inch nails with no trouble at all

The finish nailer has worked really well the couple times I have used it. I haven’t had any issues with misfires or with accuracy. So far I’m happy with the purchase. The only downside to the finish nailer is that it didn’t come with a case. Now I have to find a case for it to keep it safe.

Great product. Good price. I was a long-term holdout for nail guns, so I started out with a finish nail gun. It has very user friendly safety features and drives nails better than I can drive them with a hammer. Nail sizes are available everywhere and Amazon has a good selection, including stainless steel, which is only slightly higher in cost. I use stainless steel nails for all my outside work.

I am not a professional, but I do quite a bit of my own carpentry, and this is perfect and time saving. I replaced my air powered version because I don't have a portable tank and this lets me work anywhere without having to worry about running air hoses or compressors. It's sturdy and works well.

Massive case and heavier compared to pneumatic model but worth it to be free of an air line snaking through the house - looking forward to adding 18ga model to my lineup of nailers - works well - drives nails fully with easy impact adjustment depending upon material - highly recommended!

It's that time of year when all the outside projects are winding down and we are moving onto indoor projects. When it comes to working indoors space is at a premium so finding tools that work well in small spaces is a must. The 'Porter-Cable 16 Gauge Straight Finish Nailer' is the perfect tool for working in both small and large spaces.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is a cordless finish nailer suitable for regular and heavy duty use. It uses a 20v Lithium battery for power. The battery and charger are provided. The charger is designed to not overcharge the battery. It will stop charging when the battery is full and then continue to top it up as needed.

The nailer weighs about 2.9kg. It is a little heavier than my regular nailer, but the fact that I don't have to drag around a 27kg air compressor around a job site more than makes up for the difference in weight. It is still light enough to be used on over-head projects and the lack of cords and hoses makes it extremely portable and convenient.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is great for both big and small jobs. It has an adjustable nail depth gauge ' above, below or flush. When you are driving nails with a hammer you run the risk of bruising the wood, the nailer drives the nails but doesn't cause any bruising.

'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' has several features to make your job safer and easier. If you need a little extra light on the job, it has work lights located on each side. They are meant for lighting the immediate work area and not to be used as flashlights. It has a stall release, where if a stall occurs the tool will disable itself until you reset it. You can also lock the trigger when you are not using the gun.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is a professional grade nailer, suitable for both home and on the job.

I already had Porter Cable 20V tools so it was a no-brainer to add this one to my collection. It is incredibly handy to have a nailer that’s so portable without being tied down by an air compressor. I’ve done trim and baseboards, outdoor planters, a rustic board fireplace surround and more. Very convenient without setup time for small jobs and so portable for larger jobs. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using gas powered units for much of my carpenter life, this unit works every bit as good and no gas cartridges to buy I almost can’t believe it took me this long to try a full electric cordless. Aside from having to wait a sec for that satisfactory bang vs the usual instant this unit is flawless and jammed only once through the course of my project which was easy to remedy.
