Love this item. Adjustment pressure setting is easy to adjust. Can hold and angle the nails as needed. Easy to get into the corners well as well. I do wish the safety switch was slightly larger so I could switch it easier with one hand. It is heavy when I first lifted it, but while using it - it seemed to be easy to position and I never tired of handling it. Battery charged easily and fast. Loaded nails easily. I have just finished using it to refinish walls with 1x6 tongue and groove boards. Next week will do ceilings which I am no longer dredging with this tool.

I used 2 inch finish nails. But the gun does handle 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inch nails with no trouble at all

It's that time of year when all the outside projects are winding down and we are moving onto indoor projects. When it comes to working indoors space is at a premium so finding tools that work well in small spaces is a must. The 'Porter-Cable 16 Gauge Straight Finish Nailer' is the perfect tool for working in both small and large spaces.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is a cordless finish nailer suitable for regular and heavy duty use. It uses a 20v Lithium battery for power. The battery and charger are provided. The charger is designed to not overcharge the battery. It will stop charging when the battery is full and then continue to top it up as needed.

The nailer weighs about 2.9kg. It is a little heavier than my regular nailer, but the fact that I don't have to drag around a 27kg air compressor around a job site more than makes up for the difference in weight. It is still light enough to be used on over-head projects and the lack of cords and hoses makes it extremely portable and convenient.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is great for both big and small jobs. It has an adjustable nail depth gauge ' above, below or flush. When you are driving nails with a hammer you run the risk of bruising the wood, the nailer drives the nails but doesn't cause any bruising.

'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' has several features to make your job safer and easier. If you need a little extra light on the job, it has work lights located on each side. They are meant for lighting the immediate work area and not to be used as flashlights. It has a stall release, where if a stall occurs the tool will disable itself until you reset it. You can also lock the trigger when you are not using the gun.

The 'Porter-Cable 16 Guage Straight Finish Nailer' is a professional grade nailer, suitable for both home and on the job.
