I would give it 5 stars but it has a small gap at the bottom, the case I am currently using is from trainium. Over all it holds my phone in a sturdy manner. The case I purchase had brought a belt clip but unfortunately it broke saw this one tried it out and am currently very content with it.

This belt holder is of high quality and holds the iPhone 7 with battery case firmly yet easily allows access when needed. The design is superior to the defender case and belt clip I used in the past. I have managed to break defender clips and cases over the years. The attention to detail in the design and construction is immediately apparent. Recommended. If I manage to break this I will come back and update this review with what happened but so far I have no complaints and would buy it again if I lost it.

I sat in a rental car yesterday and broke the belt clip. It lasted almost 6 months, which is about what I expected. Purchasing again. [Cheaper direct from manufacturer.]

Holster feels rugged, it tightly encloses and protects the screen of the iPhone7 in its Apple Smart Battery case. The holster attaches to a belt with a spring loaded clip and can be rotatated with nice sounding clicks so it can be worn at vertical to horizontal angles, a nice feature when sitting in some side supported car seats. The iPhone7 (and battery case) is quickly removed from the holster by pressing its spring loaded release.

The only problem I've encountered is that sometimes I think I've securely clipped the case around my belt when instead the bottom parts of the belt clip are actually gripping the belt. It feels possible for the holder to detach from my belt when this happens, though so far this has not occurred. If you wish to carry just the iPhone7 on your belt (minus the Smart Battery Case), you need to purchase the nearly identical, but smaller model.

The product has a second clip on the top, allowing the iPhone to be inserted and removed smoothly with one hand, while not sacrificing the security of your phone. I like the product very much. It fits perfectly, the phone is easy to attach and remove, and the belt clip works well. However, I'm on my third one; If you happen to drop it and it lands on the clip that holds the phone on, it breaks off very easily. It has happened to me twice, fortunately not with the phone on the clip. I like the device so much that I'll probably buy another one if this one breaks.

This is a real nice case and I'm glad it's available. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is as follows: The way the belt clip is designed you don't have anything on the back of the clip to pinch against to easily open the clip because they cut the back part of the clip off 1/2 inch shorter than the front. This makes it a real pain to get on and off with the phone in the case. If you take the phone out, you can use the curved part of the inside of the case for leverage. They should take a look at the clip on an Otterbox Defender case and try to get close to that design for the clip. Overall the case seems to be well made and fit is 10/10. I have been using the Otterbox Defender for years but decided to give this a try so I could take advantage of the Apple battery case. Only time will tell if the Apple Smart battery case provides adequate drop protection.

This is one time country of origin should be disclosed, as this product is really nice. To bad proper credit can not be given out! You may end up fumbling with the release catch because it does not have enough surface area for you thumb to work the latch. Overall I am pleasantly surprised at the fit and finish of the product.

I used this holster for about a month. Not even every day. The clip broke in half about 3 weeks into using it. I took it off one day and the belt clip came apart in my hand. Business users beware. If durability is of a concern you may want to be cautious. Mind you this is less than twenty bucks and I for one was really excited when I found this as I love my battery case but to only get a few weeks use out of it is absurd. This allowed me to keep my phone handy for ready use. It was a major disappointment that the product didn’t live up to its promises.

Have always preferred the clip style versus a pouch. I access my phone constantly during the day for business calls, texts and emails.
I have only had this for 2 weeks. I use it with a iPone 7 and Apple Smart Battery and so far so good. Will see how it holds up long term with heavy usage. I have had Mophies in the past and was utterly disgusted with their clip holder.

UPDATE: Changed it to a 5 Star rating. After just shy of 4 months of use, I am still pleased with this item. Holds the phone securely. I will be purchasing another just in case I lose this one or mangle it in some way.

This case is super niche as you need to be an iPhone 7 owner and purchase the smart battery case to use it. The case has a premium feel (soft rubberized outer layer feels similar to the older blackberrys) it also has an inset pattern on the back that helps with grip. The belt clip seems sturdy enough but I am not sure of it is as rigid as that of my old otter box (time will tell). The clip on the top holds the iPhone smart case in snug and protected. It has a felt cloth inset to the plastic to protect the iPhone screen.

There is one oversight with this clip case, there should be a notch on the bottom of the clip where the lightening cable connects into the apple smart battery case. I will probably take a knife and carve out a notch. The problem is you cannot charge the phone or connect to apple car play with a lightening cable while it is in the clip case. It would not prevent me from purchasing but before they re-order it would be nice to take this into account.

Overall I like it and it is great for the price and would recommend
