Super warm and comfortable. I've had the original Bugaboot for a for years. I could finally afford these and I couldnt be happier. Perfect for cold snowy windy NY winters. I'll snowblower for over an hour straight wearing these and my feet don't feel cold at all. I've always had cold feet. Very very happy with these boots.

I waited till the weather turned cold to do my review. I live in Minnesota and we just went thought the "POLAR VORTEX"! I was out and about in these boots In -30f (-45f windchil). The biggest issue with these boots is heat loss through the soles of the boots. They stayed warm enough in the extreme weather but I can feel cold through the bottom of the shoe. This is not a big issue for me because I will be buying a 45nrth aerogel insole to put under the insole in the boot. This will fix any heat loss and make the boot golden.
The thermal reflective works very well! whenever I'm active the boots are toasty, overcoming the heat loss through the soles.
The boots are comfortable, but I would like more padding at the back of the heal. (personal preference).
The waterproofing is outstanding. If I'm hiking through wet snow or slush my feet do not get wet. Should snow get into these boot from not having my pants/snow pants pulled over the tops my feet dry out very quickly.
winter setup Columbia heat zone turbo down jacket 1000(fantastic), some just okay insulated snow pants, Columbia reflective base-layer, fleece mid-layer, Columbia reflective hat (fantastic), a wool scarf and some okay gloves.
If Columbia could up the isolation in the sole these boots would get 5 stars everything else about them is great and the negative can be overcome with a $15 insole. I recommend them provided you are willing to buy aerogel insoles too.

I love that this boot is 100% waterproof & seem like they should last a really long time. Pretty tuff & sturdy. The traction in snow & ice is un-freakin-believable. If Columbia stops making this boot or the bugaboots it will b a big mistake & huge disappointment. (R U listening Columbia?) All of their products r top notch, tried & true & o so functional, long-lasting & reliable. Indeed 1 of my main go-to's for all things recreational.
