Finally found a safe & secure tether for my iPhone!

About a year ago I cobbled together a "solution" of sorts to keep from dropping my iPhone: a GoPro adhesive mount stuck to my iPhone case, coupled with a cheap plastic lanyard to wrap around my wrist or hang around my neck. It worked, but was never really satisfactory. It was sorta ugly, the GoPro mount was bulky and stuck out so I could no longer lie my phone flat on a table or set it in my cell phone stand, and the sharp edges of the lanyard cut into my wrist. I would periodically search amazon for a better solution, but never found anything.

Then last week I was searching for a new case after a mishap with my OtterBox, and up pops this interesting Bone Collection lanyard with a cute little kitty cat button. Hmm, I think, and follow the link. And know instantly I've found my solution. Yes!

I'm a big fan of good design, quality materials and well-made, durable items (well, who isn't?), and a touch of playful whimsey that makes me smile when using otherwise mundane items is a decided plus. All the Bone products I've seen so far fit these criteria. The way the lanyard attaches to the case and then loops around to secure to itself is genius, and the exchangeable buttons provide the smiles. After 2020 I can use all the smiles I can get!

Keeping my phone off the floor is a big challenge for me. I'm disabled with multiple sclerosis and some of my medications cause me to fall asleep with little warning, so sometimes my phone goes sliding or plunging to the floor. I have a good case and screen protector and to date my phone hasn't been damaged on any of its escapades. I certainly want to keep my phone intact, but it would be even better to keep control of it in the first place and avoid the hassle of retrieving it or waiting for someone who can help me. As a plus, the silicone gives me a better grip on the phone, and keeps it from sliding so easily.

So I think these Bone Lanyard series products are going to become very good helpers for me. I purchased this crossbody design first, but already have a neck and wrist lanyard ordered. Thank you, Bone Collection!

The ad photo is not what I experienced. The lanyard covers one of the iphone photo lenses and also will keep sliding over the sound button, making it go mute. It seems sturdy and I am sure it will do the job for some other phones.

I ordered this Bone Phone case with a neck strap because I have a disability that makes my hands unable to hold objects safely and I could not take the risk of dropping my phone. I had been using a Lanskin lanyard case on my old iPhone SE but when I bought a new iPhone 11 I found that Lanskin did not make a lanyard phone case for that phone. I did a Google search and found your phone case and thought it looked like it would work for me. It came a few days ago, was so difficult to put on the phone I had to have my neighbor do it, but that was when the real trouble started.

In order to insert my phone into the case, we had to put it so it was upside down, making it very difficult for me to look at when I was wearing the Phone on the neck strap (Which was why I bought your phone case in the first place). I then noticed that one of the two cameras on the back of my iPhone 11 was covered by one of the rubber straps on your phone case. Later that night when I tried to plug my headphones into my phone, I found I could not get past the rubber strap on the bottom of the phone case in order to insert the plug. That would mean I would not be able to charge the phone. Obviously, it is useless to me.

I have just received the Keebos lanyard phone case I then ordered on Amazon, and it works perfectly. Thank goodness!

I've looked online for ages and this item is the only one I've found that holds my phone but does not obscure the camera on the rear. If I lose it or it breaks, I order a new one. The lanyard keeps me from misplacing my cell phone when I go out. I just wear it around my neck. My only problem is that if you look on the side photo, the band of the lanyard holding the phone crosses one of the buttons on the side -- it's the volume button. So often the volume control gets turned up or down accidentally. I've learned to deal with that. This product is made in CHINA.

I have bought a number of these rubber type phone holders. I used them during fishing tournaments (catch-photo-release) to hold my phone, so it is absolutely critical that they are secure. With other holders I found the corners kept either pulling back on their own (so I would discover my phone was only held on three corners) OR after a few uses they would simply break at the corners.
NOT THIS ONE!
Wow, really thick rubber, beefy! The phone sits deep into the corners of this holder and the neck strap is long enough to be worn comfortably.
The only downside to be aware of is that it does cover more of the screen than other holders, but in my application that is just fine! I would rather it cover part of the screen than to lose my phone in a 200ft deep lake.
Phone is the larger Samsung S9+ and I have a case over the phone too, so this still fits even with the case left on the phone (double protection).

Seid zwei Wochen verwende ich dieses Umhängeband nun und bin fast komplett zufrieden mich versöhnlich stört es weniger das es etwas über die Ecken geht (aber das muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden) da ich zu anderen Umhängebändern mit Hülle kein vertrauen aufbauen könnte das es wirklich in jeder Lage mein Handy vorm Fall schützt. Also hab ich es hiermit versucht man muss es zwar minimal schief anbringen damit nicht die Lautstärketaste nicht gedrückt wird und auch einen Millimeter den Gummi bei Seite schieben um den ganzen Fingerabdrucksensor nutzen zu können (was einen Stern abzug beim Sensor gab) aber ansonsten hält es was es verspricht. Ich kann das Handy in meiner Hülle lassen, es sitzt schön straff, Induktives Laden oder mit Kabel Laden ist möglich Kameras vorne wie hinten werden nicht verdeckt und bei mir funktioniert es sogar (aufgrund meiner Größe 1,68) mir das Handy schräg umzuhängen statt nur vorne um den hals was das ganze noch besser macht.
