My use of this product not specifically as designed but, this was the best thing I could find and it worked quite well. Rather than have to extend and wrestle the 40 foot ladder to get to my third story box gutters, this product permits me to use brush attachment to sweep tree debris to where I can reach out and clear them from my third story attic dormers.

The mid-late 1920s foursquare house design has an extemly steep roof pitch and no walkable roof area. This leaves my only other option of "walking" the perimeter on the edge (Box Gutters are 8" wide) all the way around 3 stories up or wrestling the ladder with a couple dozen up/down trips. These options weren't all that appealing.

This product solved that allowing me to sweep debris off or back to me where I can reach it with my hands or shop vac.

As somewhat expected, the pole does flex at full extension range (I had it to approx 21-23 feet) so I had to learn a control technique but, it turned out to be more productive than I initially thought it would. I recommend using the Metal threaded tip (I did) for stronger durability and variable angle capability. There is also a host of attachments available.

The manufacturer might consider an operable "claw" type attachment to grip and release something (i.e. my downspout guard)? But, I am thankful for my decision to purchase and would encourage others to give it a try for suitable applications.

Finally with this extension pole and the cobweb duster I have been able to reach the windows in the back of my house. For years I have been trying to eliminate these cobwebs. The extension pole is so sturdy and easy to use. I do not have a ladder tall enough to reach and due to the cost I really did not want to buy an extension ladder. I am so overjoyed with the cobweb duster and extension pole that I purchased your squeegee so I can now clean the windows in the back. Thank you so much for producing top quality products that are durable, dependable and efficient. You have definitely made my life easier and better.

I've used this primarily with an 8" brush on the end to help sweep my metal roofs. It worked fairly well except the screw on of a brush head and aligning the angle at the end didn't always line up for the work I needed to do and my brush head would come loose every so often forcing me to retract segments to fix it. Also at full length, you are working with a good bit of weight and the pole will sag if not being used in an almost vertical position. Adjusting the pole was easy and tightening up screws for segments that swiveled or slipped was easy. Definitely a lot easier that getting up on the roof and I plan to use for window cleaning of greenhouse roofs.

Purchase this extension pole to wash our solar panels. The main criterion was that for a single-story home, it was a must as roof expeditions were no longer an exciting challenge. Now we can stand on the patio and wash the dirt off. 24' extension does the job with length to spare.

This pole saved us about 800 for painting! We have 20 ft ceilings and we were going to pay someone to paint from the 15ft mark up, but instead we ordered this pole and did it ourselves. It made quick work of it all and it is so strong and durable. We will have this for years to come. We love it! Great option if you have high ceilings and don't want to hire someone!

We bought this product strictly to scrub the Sunbrella canvas awnings on the second story of our home. It works but it flexes really bad at longer lengths due to the thin aluminum in the top sections of the pole. We hope that the pole will hold up under long term usage but it has so much flex that we are concerned that it will bend or break and become unusable. Time will tell.

The angled end of the pole is crucial to being able to clean roof skylights. To do this I used a combined sponge/ squeegee attachment, from Ace hardware. It fit on the end well, though I had to add a rubber washer so that when the attachment is tightened, it is right-angle to the pole (making a T shape).

It worked very well and I cleaned 3 skylights in under 20 minutes. Without this pole, I had to climb up on the roof manually wash and then wipe each one, crouching over it. Getting back off the roof (especially if you forget some supplies, and make a couple of trips) is the slow/ dangerous part, even when you have solid ladders, etc.

For this application, the pole wasn't more than half-way extended. The longer you extend it, the more difficult to hold and control, of course.

I bought this extension pole, and since I bought it, I have used it exactly 2 times. TWO !!!

The first time, I could not even extend the sections, as they were too tight, but I managed, with another person. Seemed flimsy but I did not really need too much of an extension. I should say that I bought this for a roof rake, for my 14' roof.

I extended the end section, the thinest section, the least, about 2.5 to 3'. The next section, about 4' and the remaining sections about 5' so that there should be ample distribution of the end weight ( A 1 pound plastic roof rake), having learned to make sure not to extend the end sections too far. Well low and behold, after using about 17' of the 26' pole, it snapped at the end, where the "upgraded" metal attachment tip was. Boom, useless!

Now of course, I can't return it, so it now is going to be recycled as a paperweight, as this is all it is good for.
If I could return it, I would. Should have the 1st time, but I wanted to give it a 2nd chance, and it bit me in the backside.
