Build quality of this vs Yamaha sea wing II or seascooter is top notch. It has a large LiPo battery that has a solid 45m run time for an adult.
Drawback is it’s really heavy! Even in its own backpack it’s a serious PIA to move around to beach/rivers. I’m 200lbs and lift heavy weights all the time - but trust me this thing is cumbersome due to size & weight.
The unit has three speeds and slowly builds up power as you change from off to 1-2-3 fastest setting. But it takes a few seconds to build up. So it’s not as fun as the sea wing II which is instant acceleration and much more agile. However this is quieter so if you are doing scuba it may be better at not disturbing fish.
expensive product to take a chance on..fears came true when all set up and charged. Propeller did not work. customer service tests did not help, so returned and took nearly two weeks to receive refund. I would like to try another one but Super hesitant now.
