I have a lot of lumpy tight spots from old martial arts injuries. I also have a lot of scar tissue from surgeries and injuries. I've been trying to smooth the fascia and scar tissue for years with just my fingers but it wasn't enough anymore. I didn't even know they made tools like these until I came across a commercial for some costing in the $150 range. So I did a little research and came across this. It was perfect for what I needed it for and at a great price. I ordered it Monday and it's already here on a Thursday. I've only had it an hour but as you can see from the photos I'm busy working out some kinks on my lumpy martial arts shins and my ankles that I put through all kinds of hell over the years. It feels really good, like a sweet pain. I like it better with yoga pants on though. All I can tell you is this little thing works way better than my fingers ever could and it's getting in to the fascia/tissue more evenly. My legs and ankles are tingling from the increased blood flow, which feels amazing. My yoga practice feels deeper and this thing feels GREAT while soaking in a hot epsom salts bath! I did have a lot of bruising (and still do as I continue to let the original bruises heal and work on other areas), but keep in mind that I abused my legs for years and they were very lumpy. It's breaking up a LOT of old tissue that healed wrong, so this bruising is expected and actually welcomed. My legs feel so much better already! Thanks to whoever invented these little tools!
I'm going to keep using it and cannot wait for the longer term results.
